    Once we receive your order, inspected it and do the paperwork for processing, we send you your payment. We send payments for orders within one business day of processing them.
  2. Have you received my order yet?
    You will receive an e-mail notification from us when your shipment arrives at All Media Sales. Our standard shipping method, US Post Office Media Mail, usually takes 2-3 weeks for delivery.
  3. Will you purchase my collectibles or antiques?
    Sorry, we do not buy collectibles or antiques.
  4. Some of the ISBNs I entered you won’t buy. Why not?
    While we purchase a huge diversity of Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games, our purchases are keyed to the resale price of the items, our current on-hand inventory of the items, market demand for the items, as well as other considerations.

  1. So where do I start?
    We try very hard to make selling your no longer wanted Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games as simple as possible. You start by entering the ISBN or UPC numbers into the form provided on our site. We will instantly tell you if your items are eligible for purchase and how much we will pay for them.
  2. Do you charge me anything for buying my Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games? There are no fees whatsoever for our services. Everything is absolutely free, including our price quotes, shipping, and speedy payments Try us now!
  3. Can I sell you my used textbooks?
    Of course! We will purchase your textbooks at All Media Sales, as well as any other eligible items you may have. All Media Sales will give you speedy price quotes, absolutely free shipping, and quick payment!
  4. Suppose I have more than one copy of the same item?
    We often buy multiple copies of one item, but we do reserve the right to decide how many of any one item we will buy. Quantities are determined by a number of factors, including our present inventory of the item and market demand for the item.
  5. I want to sell you a lot of  Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games. This is a sizable order. Can you help me?
    Once you get your order into an ISBN electronic format,
    contact us. Then we will price your order for you.
  6. Can you tell me what sorts of Books, CDs, DVDs and Video Games you want to buy?
    All Media Sales is interested in all sorts of books, but some kinds of books we will not purchase. Examples are as follows:
    • Publisher galleys, advance reading copies, uncorrected proofs, and/ or reviewer copies of books
    • Copies of books that have "review copy," "free copy," "not for resale" (or "not for sale") on the cover or inside
    • Copies designated as Teacher's or Instructor's editions.
    • Answers or Solutions manuals.
    • Former library books
    • Foreign edition textbooks (we accept standard U.S. editions only)
    • Nearly all Bibles
    • Nearly all encyclopedia sets
    • Almost all magazines and comic books
    • Almost all outdated computer books and outdated textbooks
    • Old copies of Books and/or collectibles lacking ISBN numbers
    • All calendars
    • Designated one-time use subscription/registration-based software and online course materials
    • Invidual volumes of large sets (i.e., volume 1 of a 2 volume set)
    • Adult material, pornography or otherwise offensive and explicit material.

    All Media Sales buys all Music CDs, DVDs and Video Games provided the items are original production (not copies) in original packaging (jewel cases may be cracked) with original artwork and inserts and have no excessive or deep scratches. We reject all bootlegged material.

  7. Will you buy my audio books?
    All Media Sales only buys Audio Books on CDs.
  8. Do you buy collectibles?
    All Media Sales does not purchase collectibles or antiques.
  9. Will you purchase ex-library books, CDs or DVDs?
    All Media Sales does not purchase any former library items.

ISBNs

  1. Please explain an ISBN number.
    An ISBN is a 10 or 13 digit number placed on the back cover or inside the front cover of nearly all books. I t is a unique tracking number for the book title in the book industry. You can enter the ISBN into our system with or without the dashes, but don't leave off the leading zeros. Occasionally an ISBN will end with an X. All Media Sales.net will accept either the 10-digit or the 13-digit ISBN.

    The 13-digit ISBNs should start with the numbers 978. Your book may have a 10-digit ISBN, or a 13-digit number)
  2. Where is an ISBN located on a book?
    An ISBN is normally located on the back cover, immediately above the barcode. If you cannot find the book's ISBN on the exterior of the book, open the front cover and check on the page just following the title page. This page is the copyright page and includes data about the copyright date, the author and publisher. The ISBN is a 10 or 13 digit number, and is placed at the middle or at the bottom of the copyright page. If the book was published before the 1970s, it may not have an ISBN.
  3. What if I can’t find an ISBN on my book?
    We do not buy older books lacking ISBNs.

The Seller Cart

  1. Please explain how the seller cart operates.
    The seller cart operates just like a shopping cart you find on other websites. As you enter a book to sell, and assuming we are currently buying that book, the book will be added to your All Media Sales seller cart. We automatically total up your order for you. You can also change quantities in your seller cart.
  2. Should each box of books that I am selling have its own seller cart?
    The easiest and clearest way for us to keep track of your order is for each box of books that you are selling to have its own seller cart.
  3. How long can I save what I’ve added to my seller cart?
    Your books in the seller cart will be saved for up to 48 hours.
  4. How can I remove items from my seller cart?
    Just click the "remove" button next to the price quote, or change the quantity to 0 and click update and you will remove the items.
  5. How can I correct a mistake in my order?
    Simply click "Empty my Entire Cart" if you have not yet submitted your order. If you have already submitted your order and it is in "Approved for Shipment" status, but you have not yet shipped your books, you can go to your account and clicking the "Cancel" link on the right hand side.

    If you have already shipped your books to us, just contact us and we will return them to you after we have received payment for return shipping from you.

  6. What do you do if some of my items do not meet your condition requirements, and you will not accept them?
    All Media Sales will ship unacceptable items back at the Seller's expense. We will hold unacceptable items for 30 days, after which these items will be recycled or donated as we see fit. Be sure to familiarize yourself with our condition requirements to minimize the chance of this happening.
  7. What influences your purchasing decisions for items?
    Our purchasing decisions are based on supply and demand in the market, which is always changing.
  8. How do you establish the prices you pay for items?
    We always are gauging the market's supply and demand, which permits us to pay the best prices. This allows us to offer the best prices. Our database is continually updated to make sure you get the best possible prices for your items. Our pricing is kept simple and straight forward. Price quotes assume your books range from very good to new condition, and comply with all of our condition requirements. We make deductions from the original price quote, if necessary, when your books do not meet our condition requirements.

Creating an Account and Check-Out

  1. When I am through adding items to my seller cart, what should I do?
    When you are finished adding books to your seller cart, proceed to checkout. At that point, we ask you create a new account with All Media Sales.net or login to your existing account. You will be asked for your contact info so that we can contact you and finish the transaction. The final step is for you to confirm and submit your order to us. Please Note: We ask that your books be shipped to us within one week of the date. You place your order. If you cannot get to to the Post Office within that time frame, we ask you to please submit a new order.

    None of your personally identifiable information is provided by us to any to third parties without your permission, unless the third parties have signed on to our confidentiality requirements and use the information to help you operate the site, or as we are required by law to disclose such information. Occasionally we may post links to third party sites on our site. If you click on a link, you may be sent outside of All Media Sales.net. At that point, information you give outside of All Media Sales.com is not protected by our privacy policy.
  2. What do I do if I forget my password?
    Go to the link at the end of the Login screen "Forget your password? (Click here).” This link will send you to a page where you can enter your email address to have a password reminder sent to your inbox. Then go to your own email account for your password.

Please explain the shipping process.

  1. What do I do when I’m ready to ship items to you?
    When you submit your books to us, you will receive an email from us with a link to shipping instructions. Alternatively, you can login to your
    Account, and check for "Approved for shipment" status and the "print & ship" button below.
  2.  When do I have to send in the order?
    All orders should be put in the mail within 7 business days of your placing the order. We will send you a friendly email reminder. The time limit is established because of the constant fluctuation of current market prices . If you mail your order after the 7 day period, we reserve the right to adjust quoted prices according to the current market value.
  3. Am I required to pay for the postage to ship my order to you?
    There is no shipping charge whatsoever for you to send your order to us. We pay all of the shipping costs and give you the shipping instructions when you submit your order.
  4. What do I do if I can’t print from my computer?
    You can do one of two things:
    • Request mailing labels from us and we will send them to you.
    • You can go ahead and pay for the shipping upfront, and when we get your order, a shipping credit will be added on to the total amount of your order. This figure will be equal to USPS Media Mail rates, based on the weight of your books. If you decide to go this route, you can ask for "Media Mail" at your Post Office to keep the cost down.
  5. How will you let me know the status of my order and if you’ve received it?
    All Media Sales will send you a "received" email notice as when we receive your shipment. But remember: Media Mail takes up to 14 business days for delivery. Also, please give us a few days for processing your order. You can also login to our site to check your order(s) status at any time by going to your
    Account. When your books are inspected and marked as "processed" in our warehouse, we will issue you payment. We issue payment within 1-3 business days of "processed" status.
  6. If I forget to include the packing slip, what should I do?
    Just let us know, and we will trace your order by your name or email, and make ourselves a note to print a packing slip when your package is delivered.
  7. If I do not include some of the items in my order on the packing slip, what happens?
    You will get a "received" email notification from us which will inform you of the missing titles. If your package was damaged in any way during shipping we will let you know of any missing items.. We will await your reply for14 days, after which we will go ahead and process your order as is.
  8. If I pack the wrong item what do I do?
    We check to find out if the items belong to another one of your orders. If they do not, and if we are purchasing the item, we will add it to your order. Should we not be buying the items, we will keep them for 30 days, after which time, these items will be recycled or given away.
  9. If I include items in the box that are not on the packing slip, then what?
    Sellers should not include books in the order that are not on the packing slip. If they do, we check to see if the items might belong to another of one your orders. If they don’t, and if we are currently buying the item in question, we will add the item to your order. If we are not buying the items, we will hold them for 30 days; after that time, these items will be recycled or given away.
  10. Can I use a different shipping carrier?
    You can use any shipping carrier you like, but please remember that we will only credit you for the USPS Media Mail rates, based on the weight of the package. Your package will be checked for their weight on their arrival at our warehouse.

Payment

  1. When do I get paid?
    Orders sent USPS Media Mail usually take 7-14 days for the package to arrive at our warehouse. When we get your order, we will send you a "received" email notice. After we receive your order, we must inspect it. Once we have inspected your order and marked your order as "processed," we will send you your payment, either by mailing you a check or paying you through PayPal. Payment is issued to you within one business day after we receive and process your order.
  2. What are your methods of payment?
    We will issue you a check, or pay you through PayPal.
  3. Please explain how PayPal works.
    PayPal sends you money electronically and then you transfer the money to a regular bank account (or, if you wish, you can keep the money in your PayPal account).If you want to receive payment by PayPal, PayPal will send you instructions on how to set up an account.

    When you create an account with All Media Sales, you are given the choice of a PayPal or check payment. We advise you to choose PayPal, because it is very fast, very convenient, and more secure than a check. Existing All Media Sales customers can also opt to later change their payment preference to PayPal by clicking the "update" link under your Account.

Returning items

  1. If I want my items back, will you return?
    Should you decide to cancel your order, your books can be returned to you at your expense. You will have to pre pay return shipping costs by either Pay Pal or check. Items will be held for 30 days. If you fail to do this within 30 days your items will be deemed abandoned and disposed of at our discretion
  2. If you do not accept my item (for example, because it is an International Edition, in poor condition, or missing a CD), then what?
    All Media Sales will ship rejected items back to the Seller at the Seller's expense. We will hold unacceptable items for 30 days; after that time, these items will be recycled or given away. Please familiarize yourself with our condition requirements.

International Customers

  1. Do you purchase international items?
    We do not purchase items from outside the United States at this time due to high cost of international shipping.
